Bash News September 2009 – Stage 1 report
It is coming up fast guys, the 2009 JConcepts Bash is rapidly approaching. We have secured the location for this year’s event and have made some changes to the format which should draw even more interest. Prizes to competitors offered below.

Contact JConcepts to signup now at 352-241-4976. Entry fee for the Bash will be $25 for the first entry and $15.00 for each additional. The Bash is being limited to the first 125 entries so be sure to send in those entries ahead of time and secure your spot for one of the most enjoyable events around.
Do you want to be really creative? How about dressing up in costume for the event? Drivers who participate in the dress up and drive receive a bonus opportunity for the big raffle. Dress up to win!
Bash participants will have access to a fine selection of PRIZES.
Classes -
- Short Course – Stock (no expert drivers)
- Short Course – Modified (10.5 motor)
- 1/10th buggy – Super Stock (13.5 motor)
- 1/10th truck – Super Stock (13.5 motor)
- 1/10th truck – open
- 1/10th 4wd – open
- 1/16th E-Revo - open
Short Course Classes
The stock short course class is exactly how it sounds. Intended for stock SCT trucks this class will only allow changes to the radio, receiver, body and tires. Any combination of stock SCT RTR motor and speed controls from the 4 available vehicles are allowed. No expert or sponsored drivers allowed.

- Stock Slash tires
- Stock SC10 tires
- Stock Blitz tires
- Stock Strike tires
Modified class is intended for the more experienced driver and is open to all manufacturer SCT trucks. All 3.0” x 2.2” SCT tires are legal for the modified class with a motor limit of 10.5. Lipo batteries are allowed in both short course classes.
Super Stock Classes
The “Super” Stock Buggy and Truck classes will be using 13.5t motors, and not 10.5t as many assume. This should provide everyone with easy access to the current “standard” stock brushless motor for off-road. As a brushed equivalent we recommend a 27t motor.
Open Modified Classes
The open modified classes are intended for modified truck, 4wd modified and 1/16th E-Revo. These will be run just as they typically are on the Super Cup Florida series. No motor or tire limits for these classes. 1/16th E-Revo is a new class and can be run in stock form or modified with different bodies, wheels and tires. Check out the 1/16th E-Revo, these little guys are a blast!
